this is the village i stayed at after a moutain bike trek in northern laos, mook jone. after spending the night in a local's house, we got up early and while the guides prepared breakfast, my mate and i went for a walk around the village. the houses are typical for the region. this road is looking north (i think) and leads to a village that the slow boats come into from china. the fog was a great way to tell the time. everyday like clockwork, it would lift at 11am, revealing a beautiful sunny sky. this shot would have been at about 7am.

Watching the Sunset

One of the best spots in Yosemite National Park to watch the sunset from (or the sunrise, for that matter), is Sentinel Dome. More and more people seem to discover this.
